Phases of Core and Pilates Training

Core Pods


Pods are mini groups to a maximum of 4 people per instructor. We have developed 3 classes that will teach you how to release your diaphragm, engage proper breath mechanics, properly engage your intrinsic core and integrate that with basic movements. These pods are an essential part to the core and pilates experience and at Deep Physio this is the fundamental approach to the classes.

Beginner Core Class


Our Beginner Core Class is the first class after the core pods. Do not be taken away from the word ‘beginner’. Most come away from these classes feeling their core muscles the next day! The class is taught by a kinesiologist whom increases the level of difficulty with movements on the mat as you strengthen and stabilize your core.

Intermediate Core Class

This Class is a level up from the Beginner Class and is taught my one of our Physiotherapists. This Classe will incorporate more advanced movements working on core stability, strength and endurance.

Beginner Pilates

Beginner Pilates is taught by our Pilates Instructor and is the next level of core training. This class is working through movements to strengthen your core, posture, flexibility and endurance all whilst getting an amazing workout!
