Jaslyen grew up in Abbotsford; she participated in a variety of sports in her childhood and remains a sports fanatic to this day. In addition to enjoying an active lifestyle, Jaslyen has a fondness for travel that stemmed from her education in French, English, and Punjabi.
She earned a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of the Fraser Valley in 2016 while on a basketball scholarship and went on to graduate as Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPThy) from Bond University (Australia) in 2019 with high distinction. Jaslyen travelled to work in rural Australia, Stanford University, and Vietnam while in graduate school. Since graduating in 2019, she has served patients at clinics and schools in Melbourne, Abbotsford, and the Caribbean.
Jaslyen believes strongly in active rehabilitation, manual therapy, patient education, and injury prevention. She has special interest in pelvic health, vestibular rehabilitation, dry needling, pilates, and geriatric physiotherapy.
